In work environments where heavy cotton dust may be present, the GMW-4000 Vertical Elutriator effectively measures exposure to this potentially hazardous dust. The instrument must be suspended vertically with the inlet positioned near the breathing zone of the worker in order to achieve accurate results. Meets OSHA Reg. 1910.1043.
